Introduction to Marketing

Internet Marketing is same as Online Marketing. It refers to the advertising and Marketing efforts that use the web or an internet connection to drive direct sales via E- commerce. Internet Marketing efforts are typically used in conjunction with traditional types of marketing any product and service like radio, television, newspaper and magazine etc.

It can be done in various ways.

1. Using Search Engine Optimization: It includes the submission of Websites at various places on the internet so that that the search engine can detect and find that web page on internet. This can be done by typing the keywords in the search engine. Then, the engine will show the result according to its Search in a form of list.
For instance: I want to buy a second hand car for my self. I will simply open my search engine and type "buy used car", then the search engine find all the pages submitted on the web using "buy used car".

2. Using E-mail: It is also called E-mail marketing and involves advertising and promotion of any product and services via sending e-mail messages to their current and prospective customers.

3. Using Social Media Marketing: Social media boost the business very easily as they are so viral in nature.
It can be possible only with the presence of people on social networking sites. It becomes easy for the marketers to promote or make the large group aware about their products and services in a short period and with less efforts.
